Jack McConnell usually has a cabinet meeting - Please come along and support your colleagues.

Glasgow - are holding a candle light demonstration at Glasgow City Chambers, George Square. Please come along and support your colleagues.

Thursday 12 May Glasgow - 12.30 pm.
Last City Council Meeting, George Square. Please come along and support your colleagues.

Edinburgh - 9.30 am
Waterloo Place, Education HQ.

Demonstration prior to getting the Glasgow Megabus at 10.30 through to support our colleagues arrives Glasgow 11.50am price £1.50.

St Andrew's - 6pm - BBC Question Time
at St Andrew's University Student Association, St Mary's Place. Some Edinburgh Nursery Nurses have places in the audience and hope to put a question about the strike to the panel. Colleagues are going along to show their support for those nursery nurse. Train time - Leaves Edinburgh 16.10 arrives Leuchars 17.13, then bus to St Andrew's 17.19. Stagecoach 99 Leaves Dundee 17.20 and arrives St Andrew's 17.51. Please support your colleagues.

Friday 13 May: Edinburgh 12.30. Unison Meeting, St Augustin's Church, George IVth Bridge.

20 April: Glasgow members are planning a lobby at the SECC Tuesday 20th April. Jack McConnell will be there at 9.30. I feel in light of other recent lobbies, we should arrive at 9.15 at the latest. What do you think ? If you can make it please do come along and let him see what strength there is among us - Margaret Grady.

Fife march in Dunfermline 21st April - 11.30 (marching off) Starts at Carnegie Hall and finishes in Pittencrieff Park. The theme is fancy hats and anything to do with Andrew Carnegie. All Unison branches are invited.

Tay bridge event now to be held on 16 April.

Fife UNISON members meet in the car park at the Fife end at 10:30 for an 11:00 start.

Show that nursery nurses are the same across borders - that's why they need a national settlement.

Ayr March and rally on 13 April 2004

Assemble 12.15pm at The Low Green, March off 1.00pm.
March through town centre and back to Council HQ.

Fun and entertainment. Sun and Fun always in great supply in Ayr.

Buses can drop off protesters at Coach Park on the Promenade at the North End.

being held in Kilmarnock.
The March will be starting in the Howard Park in Kilmarnock at 12.00 noon - marching off at 12.15am and walking to the Cross Kilmarnock at 1.00pm.

Friday 19 March 04 - Forth Bridge, Fife and Lothians
10.00am
set off 10.30 (for both sides) Assemble at South Queensferry car park side of the Forth Road Bridge and North Queensferry side to march across bridge and meet in the middle. For further details contact the branch office on 220 5655
