The Scottish Communications and Campaigns Committee comprises members directly elected from the Scottish Council and nominees from other Scottish Committees. It is supported by a professional Communications Officer.

It is a working committee that takes a hands on practitioner role as well as a strategic policy role.

Its role includes the lay edited and controlled bi-monthly bulletin for activists, Scotland inUNISON, campaigns, policy and sponsorhip and advertising.

It also aims to support branches in campaigns through briefings, help in setting up branch magazines and assistance with media strategy.
