Finance schedule falls

Despite sterling attempts by Kevin Duguid from Edinburgh, delegates were not convinced by the new finance schedule and threw it out.

High passions have arisen in this debate throughout the week and the majority were clearly not convinced by the NEC motion.

It is a pity that some of the good bits that most could agree on (eg a finance handbook etc) will now suffer.

It is also important that we find some way to do something about the millions lying about doing nothing.

The NEC will have to think long and hard now as to how it can come back to this taking branches with it.
