to encourage members to vote YES in the forthcoming political
fund ballot.

your own local material. There will shortly be coming out to branches
(and a copy will go on this site) a circular on the ballot which
will suggest ways of encouraging the YES vote.
In addition to this template, this will suggest other methods
of encouraging the vote, stressing the need to get the message
to the members early in the ballot period.
All the evidence shows that in postal ballots, the vote comes
in early or not at all. We suggest you get ready to adopt one
or more of the suggested techniques in the early days of the ballot.
ie from the target date of 14 February and the following few days.
(Ballot papers are being sent out from 9-11 Feb).
