Pathways is a two and a half day course - two days
with a half day follow up session.
It has been designed for women and provides a general
introduction to UNISON and Women's'involvement in
the union.
It offers an opportunity for women to gain confidence
in their skills and abilities to recognise how
they can put these to use in union work.
The course will help participants to explore
what trade unions are for and why women do or
don't get involved, be more familiar with UNISON,
gain confidence in their ability to use their
skills to get more involved and develop strategies
for involving more women at local level.
