SECTION 3
Mailing List Details
The Scottish Disabled Members Committee wants
to build the mailing list of members with disabilities.
This will ensure that disabled members receive
a direct mailing on the:
"Scottish Disabled Members Annual
Forum"
which takes place in late autumn of every year.
The Annual Forum is responsible for electing the 'Scottish Disabled
Members Committee' (SDMC), the two representatives to the National
Disabled Members Committee, receiving an Annual Report from
Scottish Disabled Members Committee.
Recent Forums have debated motions, received external
speakers and held workshops to discuss topical issues.
All meetings are arranged based on providing Facilities
needed by delegates eg, induction loop, wheelchair access, signers,
space for guide/hearing dogs, large print, e-mail/tape/disc
versions of printed material - NB, this is not definitive.
It is hoped that during the year, other information
will go out using the mailing list.
